How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find ClockClanker and tap Cancel Subscription

You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Does ClockClanker record my voice?

No. Voice detection and speech-to-text run on-device on your iPhone. No audio ever leaves your device. Only text transcripts are sent to the server for AI conversation generation.

What languages are supported?

ClockClanker supports 5 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Italian.

Why does ClockClanker need calendar access?

ClockClanker reads your calendar to personalize your morning briefing — letting you know about upcoming meetings or events. Only event title, time, and location are used. This data is processed in real-time and never stored.

The alarm didn't go off. What happened?

Make sure:

  • Notifications are enabled for ClockClanker
  • Do Not Disturb is turned off or ClockClanker is allowed through
  • Your iPhone wasn't powered off
  • You have an active subscription

Important: For critical appointments (flights, medical procedures, important meetings), always use a backup alarm. Do not rely solely on ClockClanker.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete Account in the app. This will:

  • Immediately erase your email and name
  • Permanently delete all your alarms
  • Remove your account data from our servers

Note: Cancel your subscription separately through Apple Settings before deleting your account.

How do I request a refund?

All payments are processed by Apple. To request a refund:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find the ClockClanker purchase
  4. Request a refund

We cannot issue refunds directly as all billing is handled by Apple.
